Repair order app for auto repair shops

A repair order app tracks every car from check-in to pickup: the jobs, the labor and parts on each one, the customer's approval and the invoice at the end. ORAVA Auto puts all of it on a phone, tablet or computer — a status board, canned jobs, your own labor rates, approval by text, and closing the repair order into an invoice with a payment link. It costs $99 a month or $990 a year for unlimited users, with a 14-day free trial and no contract.

Every car on one status board

The status board shows where each car stands — waiting on approval, in progress or ready for pickup — so anyone in the shop can answer a customer's call without walking to the bay. Opening a repair order is quick: decode the VIN, or find the customer by plate, phone number or last name.

Jobs, labor and parts

A repair order is a list of jobs, and each job carries its own lines:

  • Labor and parts lines. Add hours and parts to each job, and your parts markup is applied for you.
  • Canned jobs. Save the jobs you do every week with their hours and parts, then add them to a repair order in one step.
  • Your labor rates and customer types. Set named labor rates and map customer types such as Retail or Fleet to them, so each customer is billed at the right rate.
  • Parts from shared inventory. Parts on a repair order and parts sold at the counter draw from the same stock.

Labor-hour suggestions, clearly labeled

When you add a job, ORAVA can suggest labor hours from your own past jobs and from ORAVA's shared job library. Suggestions are marked as suggested, to verify before sending. ORAVA is not a licensed labor guide, so if your shop depends on published labor times, keep using the guide you trust and save its hours in your canned jobs.

Built for the technician too

Print a technician worksheet for the car on the lift. And instead of typing notes with greasy hands, a technician can dictate what they found; ORAVA's AI turns the note into concern, cause and correction, and the technician reviews it before it is saved. ORAVA has no time clock, so it does not track hours per technician.

From approval to payment

Text the estimate and the customer approves or declines each job and signs with a finger, with no app to download. When the work is done, close the repair order into an invoice and text a payment link — card, Apple Pay or Google Pay on the payment page — or mark it paid however you collect today, by cash, check or your own card terminal. Declined work gets an automatic follow-up text later.

Frequently asked questions

Is ORAVA a labor guide?

No. ORAVA suggests labor hours from your past jobs and its shared job library, marked to verify before sending, but it is not a licensed labor guide.

Can I bill fleet customers at a different rate?

Yes. Create named labor rates and map customer types such as Retail and Fleet to them; each customer's repair order uses the rate of their type.

What happens when I close a repair order?

It becomes an invoice. You can text the customer a payment link or mark the invoice paid if you collected another way.

Does it keep track of my parts stock?

Yes. Parts used on repair orders and parts sold at the counter come out of the same inventory.

Can my technicians use it on a phone?

Yes. ORAVA has apps for iPhone and Android and runs in any web browser. Users are unlimited, so every technician can have a login at no extra cost.

Can I export my repair orders?

Yes. Customers, vehicles, repair orders, invoices and the rest export to a spreadsheet at any time, and if a subscription lapses the account turns read-only — nothing is deleted.
