A repair order (RO) follows one car through your shop: the estimate, the customer's approval, the work and the final invoice.

1. Open it
Tap Repair orders → New repair order (or + → New repair order) and pick the customer's car. Find customer looks it up by plate, phone or last name; a car you have never seen gets added with New Vehicle.

2. Add the jobs

  • Tap Add job and type what needs doing, like front brakes. Matching jobs appear as you type; pick one to open Suggestions — labor hours and parts from your own past jobs, your saved jobs and the ORAVA library — then tap Insert.
  • Add from library drops in one of your saved jobs with its labor and parts.
  • Each job has its Concern, Cause and Correction, and lines: Labor, Part, Fee, Sublet or Discount. Prices come from your labor rate and parts markup — always check them; suggestions marked as AI research need a second look before you send.
  • Need a walk-around first? Tap Start inspection.

3. Get approval

  • Send for approval texts or emails the customer a link: they approve or decline each job from their phone.
  • At the counter, use Sign in person instead.
  • Explain for customer drafts a plain-language note for a job (one AI credit); the customer only sees it after you approve it.

4. Do the work and close
The RO moves from Estimate to In progress to Completed. The Board shows every car by column — the arrow on a card moves it on. When the work is done, tap Close & invoice: the approved jobs become a standard invoice with its INV number. Declined jobs stay on the order and go to the follow-up list for later.
