Many customers live on WhatsApp. ORAVA lets you send them their invoice or estimate from your own WhatsApp, and lets them reach you there.
1. Add your business's WhatsApp number
- Open Branding Settings (an administrator does this).
- Under WhatsApp, type the WhatsApp number, with the country code if it is abroad.
- Tap Save WhatsApp number.
Leave it empty to hide the WhatsApp buttons.
2. Send an invoice or an estimate
- Open the invoice or the estimate and tap Send via WhatsApp (on an invoice, it is under Send).
- WhatsApp opens on your phone with a message and the link already typed, in the customer's chat. No phone number on file? Type their WhatsApp number and tap Open WhatsApp, or tap Choose the chat in WhatsApp.
- Press send in WhatsApp.
Back in ORAVA, a Shared via WhatsApp line on the invoice records when it was shared and by whom.
3. Let customers write to you
Once the number is saved, a Message us on WhatsApp button appears on the online invoice, on the estimate page your customer approves, and on your ORAVA website.
Good to know
- Messages go from your WhatsApp, so the customer sees your number, and their replies come back to your WhatsApp, not to the ORAVA inbox.
- ORAVA never sends WhatsApp messages on its own, and the Assistant cannot send them. Automatic messages (receipts, reminders, approval links) go by text or email.
- On a computer, the button opens WhatsApp Web or the WhatsApp desktop app.
