Skip typing: photograph what came in and ORAVA fills in the lines.

  1. Open Stock and tap Scan / Import.
  2. Take a photo of either:
    • a supplier receipt or invoice — items are added to stock and the purchase is recorded with its cost and supplier; or
    • the goods themselves — items are added to stock only, no purchase is recorded.
  3. ORAVA reads it (one AI credit) and tells you what it found: Receipt detected or Goods detected.
  4. Check every line. A Restock badge means the item already exists and its quantity goes up; New stock item means it will be created. Fix names, quantities and costs, or remove a line.
  5. For a receipt, check the supplier (pick an existing one or keep the new name) and the Receipt date — the purchase is dated on that day.
  6. Tap Add to stock and record purchase — or Add to stock when Record as a purchase is off.

Good to know

  • Restocking with a unit cost updates that item's cost; a photo of goods leaves costs as they are.
  • New items land in the stock category Import, ready to be moved.
  • The purchase records the item lines; tax shown on the receipt is not added.
  • Adding stock needs permission to edit stock. Recording the purchase also needs the Purchases permission — without it, ORAVA still adds the stock and asks you to see your administrator.
  • A blurry or dark photo can't be read: retake it closer, in good light.
