Sales & POS · Updated 07 Oct 2026

Use an invoice when the customer pays later, pays part now, or needs a proper bill.

Create it

  1. Open the Sales List and tap New invoice (or tap + at the bottom of any screen).
  2. Pick the customer (or create one on the spot), add products or custom lines, and save.
  3. The invoice gets its number — INV-0001, INV-0002… one sequence per business.

Need the customer's agreement first? Make an estimate instead (numbered EST-0001…) and convert it once approved — see Estimates and customer approval.

Get paid
Open the invoice and tap Get paid:

  • Tap to Pay on iPhone — the customer taps their card or phone on your iPhone (iPhone app only, where available).
  • Payment link — the customer scans a code and pays by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay.
  • Cash, or Paid another way… for a transfer or check. You can record part of the amount; the balance stays due.

Send it
Tap Send to text it, email it or open WhatsApp with the message already typed. The customer receives a link to the invoice online — no login — with Download / Print and, while money is owed, a Pay button (when online payments are set up).

Receipt and QR
More → Receipt prints it with your receipt template. Its QR code, and the link printed under it, open that same online invoice.

Refunds and voids

  • Card and online payments (Tap to Pay, payment link) are refunded from More → Refund.
  • More → Void invoice cancels an invoice made by mistake.
